THE DESIGN PROCESS

Every SHI piece begins with movement.

Inspired by journeys, transitions, and the spaces between where we have been and where we are going, we explored the object that accompanies us through it all—the bag. An object that carries not only our belongings, but also a sense of familiarity, belonging, and home wherever we are.

We studied travel bags throughout history, deconstructing their forms, reimagining their details, and reshaping their purpose. Through this process of exploration, refinement, and transformation, SHI emerged.
